Twigs is one of the faces of Calvin Klein’s new campaign alongside Blackpink’s Jennie, Kendall Jenner, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. She said it’s an honor to be the new face of this brand and work closely with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggo to create something that reflects her as a woman and artist.
Just like Twigs’ Grammy-nominated music video for “Cellophane”, her Calvin Klein visual sees the singer gracefully showing off her dance move, while allowing her to showcase her confidence and sensuality and be her true and authentic self.
“I’m always excited to create iconic imagery that will stay in people’s minds. For me, that comes from telling the truth. People can feel that; it stays with them because it’s an emotional and visceral reaction,” she told The Rolling Stone.
Calvin Klein’s new ad gave us a 30-second snippet of FKA Twigs’ new song, but not much else is known about it. She’s currently plotting her third studio album, and she teased its release by dropping the lead single “Killer” back in June last year.
