Marshmello then started performing at various festivals and released an album titled Joytime in 2016. Marshmello’s identity remains unknown. He wears a specialized helmet on his live shows and other public appearances. Some believe that he is, in fact, a persona created by American DJ Christian Comstock. Marshmello and Comstock have a similar music style and are managed by the same record label.
