Keri Hilson broke onto the music scene with her 2008 singles “Energy” and “Turnin’ Me On.” The platinum-selling artist had aspirations to become a household name in the R&B world. Unfortunately, a few incidents led to her music career going down the toilet.

Keri Hilson’s disdain for Beyonce began all the way back in 2008. Hilson was slated to appear on Usher’s “Love In This Club Part II,” but she was replaced with the arena-packing artist.

This led to Hilson dissing Beyonce on her “Turnin’ Me On” remix and refusing to pose with a magazine featuring Jay-Z and Beyonce on the cover. When she announced her comeback single “Again” in 2016, the BeyHive let her know that she’s not welcome anymore.

Around the time of the Beyonce feud, Hilson started another one with Ciara. On Power 105.1, she basically grilled Ciara for paying attention to her shrinking album sales. The “Goodies” singer took offense to her comment and called Hilson out on Twitter.

Many point towards her relationship with longtime producer Polow da Don as her downfall. Rumors have it he was the one who told her to slam Beyonce in the remix. The fact that they’re still seen together in public makes it difficult for anyone to trust her.

While she’s working on her big comeback, it’ll be a small roar. Too many years away with the addition of years of feuding have left her with nearly nothing.
