Ed Sheeran dropped a major bombshell when he announced his next album, and he’s not done hyping this highly-anticipated record. The British hit-maker recently shared some more exciting detail about his new project and revealed it will feature a Bruno Mars track.

The “Shape of You” singer recently discussed his upcoming album No. 6 Collaborations Project with radio host Charlamagne Tha God and explained how it came together.

“With this record, I kind of want to put it out, and then run from it. I don’t see it as the next stage of my career, it’s just something I made and I want to put out. For me, this is a compilation album of artists that I’m a fan of,” explained Ed Sheeran.

The four-time Grammy-winning artist jokingly described this album as his “Lady Marmalade”, because he wanted to pull off a mega-collab. The first person he gave a call was Bruno Mars, and it didn’t take long for Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper to jump on board.

We can’t wait to see the full list of artist who accepted Sheeran’s call when No. 6 Collaborations Project finally comes out on July 12th.
