If you happen to need some extra push these days, then EarthGang has got you covered. The Atlanta rap duo recently dropped an energizing new track “Powered Up” that will definitely get you going.
The track is filled with busting synth beats that fit right in with Olu and WowGr8’s captivating vocals. You may feel a bit overwhelmed with all the background screeching, drums, and strums at first, but it somehow works when you decide to lose yourself in the sound.
“Powered Up” is a non-album single, but the track will find itself in the soundtrack for video-game Madden NFL 21. The release will feature several other exciting cuts, including contributions from Anderson .Paak, blackbear, Smino, Jack Harlow, Yungblud, Denzel Curry, and others.
For EarthGang, this is the third project this year. The duo previously took part in the Director’s Cut version of Dreamville and J. Cole’s compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III with the song “Still Up.” In June, they also presented “End of Daze,” which will found itself on the upcoming fourth studio album by their music collective Spillage Village.
