Drake is no stranger to proving his domination at awards ceremonies, and he did it once again at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. Canadian superstar walked away with a total of twelve shiny statues at the end of the night.

Drake came out victorious in top three categories – top artist, top Billboard 200 album and top Hot 100 artist. He also did pretty great in rap categories, where he won two main awards – top rap artist and top rap album with last year’s double album Scorpion.

Drake’s big victory on May 1 allowed him to make Billboard Music Awards history. With a career total of 27 trophies, he surpassed the previous champion Taylor Swift to become the top award recipient in the history of this ceremony.
