Billie Eilish made it back to the top of the Billboard 200 with her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? this week. The hit record put the young performer on everyone’s radar, but her star was on the rise long before it came out.

We’re bringing you five amazing songs she won us over with in the years leading to the release of her debut album.

Ocean Eyes

Most of us were introduced to this rising star through her breakout hit “Ocean Eyes”, which transformed her into an overnight sensation.

Bellyache

This quintessential Billie Eilish hit allowed her to explore the dark side of her character, like many of the singles that came after it.

Six Feet Under

“Six Feet Under” is one of the first songs Eilish shared with the world, and it never made it to any of her official records.

Bored

This song was featured on the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack, and perfectly channeled the moody atmosphere of this Netflix show.

Lovely

Billie’s duet with Khalid resulted in one of her most wholesome singles to date and got us excited about her future collaborations.
