Doja Cat and SZA are an incredible duo, and we’ve been waiting for them to collaborate ever since rocking our world with “Kiss Me More”. They finally joined forces again, and Doja Cat hopped on the remix of SZA’s hit song “Kill Bill”.

Doja Cat and SZA previously won a Grammy for best pop duo/group performance with “Kiss Me More”, and their second collaboration was a long time coming. Doja was supposed to be featured on the original version of SZA’s “Shirt”, but had to sit that one out due to her vocal cord surgery.

SZA expressed hope Doja would contribute to the deluxe version of “Shirt”, but they eventually came up with an even better plan. She hopped on the new version of “Kill Bill” instead, opening the remix by rapping “I’m in a funk so I bought a bouquet of roses and cut them up at your doorstep/Your new neighborhood is gorgeous.”

“Kill Bill” was released as the fifth single from SZA’s sophomore studio album SOS, and went on to become her highest-charting song in the US. It’s been trailing Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” and Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” on the Billboard Hot 100, but the new remix might just propel it to the top spot after eight weeks at no. 2.
