It’s been almost two decades since Diddy shared his last album with the world, and he’s finally gearing up for a comeback. He officially announced the release of The Love Album: Off the Grid, his first solo studio album in 17 years.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new album will be released on September 15 and it serves as a long-anticipated follow-up to his 2006 album Press Play. He went on to start the musical group Diddy – Dirty Money three years later and found success through multiple business ventures, which have a joint estimated net worth of $1 billion.

After finding success in many different walks of life, Diddy is finally ready to go back to music. The three-minute trailer for his new album teases collaboration with many A-list artists, including The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, 21 Savage, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Swae Lee, Babyface, French Montana, Yung Miami, and Teyana Taylor.

Diddy previously dropped hints about his new album at last year’s Billboard Music Awards and said he’ll use it to to bring the “real R&B” back.

“It’s really an evolution of my sound. It definitely has those elements of all of my hit records, from Jodeci, from Mary J. Blige. You know, all of the greats… All of the great R&B stuff that you love. The return is real and I’m better. I’m better as a producer. I’m here to touch souls,” he explained.
