Dave Grohl and Brandi Carlile recently teamed up for a surprise performance at Pike Market in Seattle and decided to deliver a short acoustic set which was highlighted by the cover of Beatles’ “Let It Be”.
The duo was joined by Carlile’s longtime band mates Tim and Phil Hanseroth, and the quartet played “for about 10 – 15 minutes” according to The Seattle Times. While the set wasn’t officially announced, Carlile decided to give a heads up to her fans on Facebook minutes prior to this unique event.
Besides Beatles’ “Let It Be,” Dave Grohl and Brandi Carlile also treated the audience with acoustic rendition of Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These.”
