Cody Jinks confirms that he has new music on the way.

The new album, After the Fire, a follow-up to his 2018 album, Lifers, is due out this fall via his own label, Late August Records.

The independent LP’s 1o tracks include a new version of “Think Like You Think,” which originally appeared on debut album Collector’s Item (2008).

Rolling Stone defines Jinks as a “former thrash-metal singer” turned “one of outlaw country’s most popular new stars.” He spoke with the outlet of his indie ways last year: “I tried to play the game a long time ago, I tried to do the clean-cut thing. I talked to some people who wanted to shelve me for a developmental deal, but it just wasn’t a route I could see myself going down. Too much hand tying.”

Check out After the Fire’s tracklist below.

1. “After the Fire”

2. “Ain’t a Train”

3. “Yesterday Again”

4. “Tell Em What It’s Like”

5. “Think Like You Think”
