2020 already gave us several pretty amazing Christmas albums and another one is on the way. Chance the Rapper recently announced that his own holiday-themed album Merry Christmas: Lil Mama Deluxe is coming our way this Friday.
Chance the Rapper is no stranger to recording Christmas songs and sharing them with the world. This is a holiday tradition he shares with his best friend and fellow rapper Jeremih. They previously released the mixtape Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama together.
The upcoming album will feature some of the songs from their past mixtapes, but it will also include new tunes, and they’re excited to share it with the entire world this holiday season.
“Every year, me and Jeremih … we would make these Christmas mixtapes and release them on the mixtape circuit. And so now, they’re finally out there for everybody on their Apple Musics and their Tidals and Amazons and all those spaces,” said Chance the Rapper during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Merry Christmas: Lil Mama Deluxe will be released on December 11th, and it will be available on digital and streaming services.
