Camila Cabello has been teasing her new era for quite some time, and we finally know what she’s been up to. The music video for her latest single “I Luv It” is one wild ride, and it sees her joining forces with the rapper Playboi Carti.

The Nicolás Méndez-directed visual sees Cabello embarking on what seems to be her villain era alongside Playboi Carti. “I Luv It” music video is a collection of some pretty wild scenes, and it sees Cabello pouring herself a glass of gasoline, being chased by police dogs, climbing up a palm tree, and sitting in a hospital waiting room with an arrow shot through her heart.

Cabello discussed the meaning behind this song in a recent cover story with Paper magazine and said it’s rooted in those very rare few times when she felt incredible chemistry with someone.

“Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion. It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I love it,” she explained.

“I Luv It” was released as the lead single from Cabello’s upcoming fourth studio album C,XOXO, set to be released later this year via Geffen and Interscope.
