Amazing things happen every time Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding join forces, and their third collaboration lives up to the hype. The duo joined forces for “Miracle”, a trance rave anthem that sounds straight out of the 90s.

Glittering synths, pumping bass, and quick drums come together to create another one of Harris’ signature EDM bangers, but Goulding’s soaring vocals eventually seal the deal. It marks the third collaboration between the two artists, following “I Need Your Love” and “Outside”.

Harris recently set down with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe to discuss “Miracle” and said that collaboration with Goulding came naturally because she’s “one of a kind” and you can’t get her vocals from anyone else.

“I definitely have very defined sort of likes and dislikes for music and artists. And one of my likes is an Ellie Goulding angelic vocal… Ellie can do a lot of different things, for me, this is my absolute favorite thing that she does, and only she can do it, in my opinion,” Harris told Lowe.

“Miracle” was released as a non-album single, and it’s not associated with Harris’ latest LP Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2. It’s also not listed as one of the tracks from Goulding’s fifth studio album Higher Than Heaven, set to hit the shelves on April 7.
