Many of our favorite pop stars recently chronicled their journey through music documentaries, and Lewis Capaldi is the next one in line. The British hitmaker announced that he joined forces with Netflix for a music documentary that tells the story of his rise to stardom.

According to the streaming giant’s press release, Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now will capture “Capaldi’s defining year, struggling to balance the familiarity of home, normality and all he’s ever known, with life as one of the biggest stars on the planet, gleaning an intimate portrait of his unique character, hopes and fears in his own words.”

Capaldi’s rise to prominence started after he uploaded his first single “Bruises” to Spotify in 2017 and quickly became the fastest-ever unsigned artist to reach 25 million plays on the platform. He became a worldwide sensation thanks to his chart-topping single “Someone You Loved”, which reached no. 1 in both the UK and the US and earned him a Grammy nomination for song of the year.

Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now was directed by Joe Pearlman, and it will also see Capaldi working on his upcoming second album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent. The documentary will arrive on Netflix on April 5, and Capaldi promoted its release by dressing up as characters from some of the most iconic Netflix shows.
