We can count on BTS to set new YouTube viewing records every time they share a new song with the world and the music video for their latest single, “Dynamite”, was no different as it easily became YouTube’s most viewed video in the first 24 hours.

BTS snagged the record held by Blackpink’s “How You Like That” after releasing their new single on August 21st and scoring around 98.3 million views in the first 24 hours. To make the whole thing even more impressive, “Dynamite” also had the biggest music video premiere in YouTube history, with around three million people tuning in to watch it live.

Members of the beloved K-pop band are no strangers to breaking records on this platform. Several of their old singles previously held the title of the most viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours, including “Boy with Luv” featuring Halsey.

What makes “Dynamite” so special is the fact that it’s the group’s first single recorded entirely in English. It’s the lead single from their upcoming studio album, scheduled to be released later this year.
