After hinting about new music on social media during the week, Bruce Springsteen now revealed that his nineteenth studio album will be on June 14, 2019. The record, titled Western Stars, will be produced by Ron Aniello and is set to feature 13 new songs from “The Boss.”

“This record is a return to my solo recordings featuring character-driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements,” – said Springsteen in a statement. “It’s a jewel box of a record.”

Springsteen also unveiled the first single from the record titled “Hello Sunshine.”

Western Stars will feature appearances from more than 20 musicians including original E Street Band keyboardist David Sancious and violin player Soozie Tyrell. Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa also took part in the project by providing vocal arrangements and signing on a handful of songs.

According to the press release, the album features songs that “encompass a sweeping range of American themes, of highways and desert spaces, of isolation and community and the permanence of home and hope.”

Bruce Springsteen’s last studio release came in 2014 when he presented High Hopes. The album received positive reviews from the critics while topping US Billboard 200 as well as the charts in several other countries including the UK.
