Blackpink took Coachella by storm when they first performed at the festival in 2019, and they’re gearing up for something even more epic the second time around. The K-pop girl group will be headlining Coachella this year, and they said it feels “absolutely unreal” to be back.

Blackpink will head to the desert on April 15 and 22, headlining the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival alongside Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean. Back in 2019, they became the first female K-pop group to perform at Coachella, and they’ll now make history as the first Korean group to headline the festival.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa recently set down with Billboard to discuss their upcoming Coachella performance and said it feels “absolutely unreal” to head back to the desert.

“I think performing for Coachella in 2019 was a moment that really woke us up as Blackpink — to be motivated, to dream on, and dream big. But we never expected anything as big as being the headliner of a festival we’ve all grown up admiring,” Rosé told Billboard.

This year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will take place over the course of two three-day weekends on April 14–16 and April 21–23. The list of performers will also include Gorillaz, Rosalía, Charli XCX, Kali Uchis, Calvin Harris, Becky G, and Björk.
