Billie Eilish found the perfect song-writing partner in brother Finneas O’Connell, and they’re already plotting her sophomore album. He recently discussed their direction for this record, and promised it will be “a little bit experimental.”

Finneas took a moment to chat with Billboard while attending the American Music Awards to support his sister, who managed to collect two trophies by the end of the night. Eilish is already working on her second album, and her brother revealed what we can expect from it.

“I think if you’re not trying to change things a little bit, you’re not evolving. So I think we’re just trying to embrace everything that we are proud of in our music and also just try new things and experiment and give people stuff to look forward to,” said Finneas.

Eilish and O’Connell co-wrote all of the songs on her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and he ended up scoring five Grammy nominations this year thanks to their collaboration, while his sister received six.
