Aurora gave us a taste of her fourth studio album with several new songs in recent months, and she finally announced its release. What Happened to the Heart? is coming our way this June, and she’ll promote its release by embarking on a tour across Europe.

What Happened to the Heart? will be Aurora’s most personal and cathartic album to date, and it’s hitting the shelves on June 7. She teased her new sound with several singles leading up to the album’s release, including “Your Blood”, “The Conflict of the Mind” and “Some Type of Skin”.

Aurora’s press release describes her new album as “a poignant and introspective musical journey that explores the loss of spiritual connection in modern society, the healing power of vulnerability, and the call to ignite change through reuniting the heart with politics and personal growth.”

Aurora joined forces with a long list of notable producers while recording her new album between Norway, Germany, London, and Los Angeles, including Ane Brun, Matias Tellez, Tom Rowlands, Chris Greatti, Dave Hamelin, and Magnus Skylstad.

She’ll promote the release of What Happened to the Heart? by embarking on a tour across the UK and Europe this September and October, which will kick off with a concert in Milan, Italy on September 18.
