Many of the world’s leading artists joined The Voice as coaches over the years, and Ariana Grande is the next to take on the role. The Grammy-winning singer recently announced she’s replacing Nick Jonas in the upcoming season of the popular singing competition show.

The “Thank U, Next” singer said she’s thrilled, honored, and excited to become a part of this show and join her fellow coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend. “I’m so honored and excited to join The Voice family! I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists, and help to take their craft to the next level,” said Grande in a statement.

Jonas expressed his support for Grande by congratulating her on Twitter and writing, “you’re going to kill it next season! Welcome to the family.”

Jonas will serve as one of the coaches until the end of the current season, while Grande is expected to replace him when The Voice returns for Season 21 this fall.
