After teasing new music for the past several days, Ariana Grande made good on her word and treated us with a brand new track “yes, and?”. The release marks Grande’s first new solo song in three years and serves as a lead single for her upcoming album seventh studio album.

“yes, and?” came with an accompanying music video directed by Christian Breslauer. It features Grande bringing her “critics” into an abandoned warehouse and performing for them. The lyrics of the song also address the rumors and chatter that followed the singer over the years.

Since releasing her latest record, 2020’s Positions, Grande has taken a step back from music and only appeared in a handful of features. In the meantime, she focused on her cosmetics business, R.E.M. Beauty, served as a coach on the reality singing competition The Voice, and starred in the upcoming filmed adaptation of music Wicked.

Now, Grande seems to be ready to take over the music world again. It is unclear when her new album will be released, although it is expected to come at some point in 2024. The title of the album remains under wraps despite speculations that it could be titled Eternal Sunshine.
