This girl is on fire, indeed! The Grammy Awards have found their host for this year’s ceremony in the brilliant Alicia Keys, and we can’t wait to see her bring her magnetic energy to the stage.

Keys is the first female performer to host the Grammys since Queen Latifah in 2005, and that’s not a coincidence. This year’s list of nominees was overflowing with female talent and Keys promised she’ll be bringing “sister vibes” to the ceremony.

“I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I’m going to bring that vibe and energy. I’m so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and magic. I’m especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year!” said this 15-time Grammy winner.

This year’s ceremony will take place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 10, and Recording Academy president Neil Portnow feels Alicia Keys is the best host they could possibly find.

“A dynamic artist with the rare combination of groundbreaking talent and passion for her craft, Alicia Keys is the perfect choice as host for our show. Throughout her exciting career, I have watched her become a powerful force within the music industry and beyond,” explained Portnow.
