#AlexFromGlasto Has Reportedly Been Offered A Record Deal

The unpredicted star of Glastonbury 2019 was a 15-year-old kid and he has now allegedly been approached for a record deal.

Stormzy, Kylie and The Killers all gave stellar headlining performances but the acts which trended the hardest were not artists at all. In addition to David Attenborough’s guest appearance and impassioned speech about plastics, 15-year-old Alex Mann went viral after he gave a word-perfect rendition of “Thiago Silvia.”

Dave plucked him out of the audience during his slot on the Other Stage and Alex won the audience over in a heartbeat. Since going viral via the hashtag #AlexFromGlasto, Thiago Silvia has contacted him personally and he told NME that he has been offered a record deal.

Alex said: “I’ve had a few labels and a few producers message me, so it could be a thing. I’m looking to do one or two songs in the future, see how they go.”

Essentially, you better watch this space. And if you didn’t catch Alex’s performance at Glasto last weekend, you can check it out here:
