A New Elvis Presley Collections with Unreleased Material Coming Soon

Elvis Presley fans are in for an exciting summer as three new collections containing the music from the late King of Rock are coming our way.

The first collection, titled Live 1969, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Presley’s Las Vegas residency at International Hotel. This residency marked the “Love Me Tender” star’s first live appearances in eight years, and he did a total of 57 shows. The collection will come as an 11xCD set with a 52-page booklet and will contain previously unreleased material. The release date has been set for August 9th.

Two-LP vinyl set is also set for release on the same date and will feature a complete set from Presley’s midnight show from August 26th, 1969.

Finally, on August 23rd, a digital collection titled American Sound 1969 will be out. This collection will future 90 rare and unreleased tracks that Elvis Presley recorded in American Studio during the session for his tenth studio album From Elvis in Memphis. This record ended up being one of Presley’s more acclaimed works and has included hits like “In the Ghetto” and     “I’ll Hold You in My Heart (Till I Can Hold You in My Arms).”
