If you thought that American Music Awards will follow the recent award show trend and go without a host this year… think again! The AMA’s are staying true to their roots and bringing Ciara to host this highly-anticipated ceremony.

Ciara will be joining the ranks of fellow superstars Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez, who hosted this award show in the past, but she’s no stranger to this duty. The Grammy-winning singer previously hosted the Billboard Music Awards with Ludacris in 2016.

We can’t wait to see her on stage when American Music Awards air live on ABC on November 24th, straight from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The list of the artists in the running for major awards at this ceremony includes Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish.

No award ceremony is complete without amazing musical performances, and the AMA’s has a couple up their sleeve. Taylor Swift and Shania Twain are expected to perform their biggest hits, but the lineup also includes Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, and many more.
