It’s only been a couple of months since Within Temptation dropped their latest studio album Resist, but they’re already gearing up for its follow-up. Singer Sharon den Adel recently revealed they’re planning to start writing their next record this fall.
Den Adel discussed what’s to come while chatting with Kaaos TV, and said the group intends to get their creative juices flowing once they’re done touring this summer.
“We’re gonna be touring maybe next year again, but after the summer, which will end for us in September – we will start to write again. We want to maintain that because we are on a new path and we still have to develop ourselves in direction more than we are doing already,” explained Den Adel.
It makes sense that the members of Within Temptation want to keep the creative momentum going since they’ve been apart for a while. Resist is the first album they release after a five-year-long hiatus, and it’s amazing to see they’re back on track!
