During last week’s concert at The Bridge Hotel in Sydney, actor Russell Crowe surprised the audience by welcoming RZA from Wu-Tang Clan on stage for a special guest appearance. Crowe is currently doing a series of pub music shows in Australia with his band, The Gentlemen Barbers.

RZA took part in the rendition of “Let Your Light Shine,” Crowe’s original track that debuted earlier in May. One fan captured the footage from RZA’s appearance and later shared it on social media.

Crowe himself also posted a couple of photos of the show on his official Twitter page.

Crowe and RZA are longtime friends and have collaborated a number of times on the big screen. The duo starred together in Ridley Scott-directed American Gangster in 2007 before reuniting for 2010’s action thriller The Next Three Days. Crowe also made an appearance in RZA’s directorial debut, The Man With the Iron Fists, before the rapper returned the favor by appearing in Poker Face, a 2022’s thriller directed and written by Crowe.

Russell Crowe is scheduled to play 10 more pub music shows as part of the Indoor Garden Party series, which is set to wrap up on June 10 at Sydney’s Manning Bar.

RZA is gearing up for a tour with Wu-Tang Clan. The rap group is scheduled to spend the summer touring Europe before returning to the United States for a series of concerts in the fall.
