Childish Gambino’s new video for “Feels Like Summer” is bursting with cartoon cameos.

The video features a cartoon of Donald Glover strolling through a neighborhood where a suspicious amount of his fellow musicians are residing. A$AP Rocky and Solange are in a tug of war with The Weekend and poor old Drake gets his bike nicked by Future.

If you look closely you will also see Azealia Banks hanging out in a tree, Travis Scott knocking over Nicky Minaj’s toy tower and Kanye West being comforted by Michelle Obama while he’s sobbing in a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.

Glover co-directed the video with Ivan Dixon and Greg Sharp. Justin Richburg did the illustrations and Fam Rothstein was the music supervisor.

“Feels Like Summer” was released in June but the new video has inspired a new found love for the song. Summer may be over but the advice of the song to ‘slow down’ still rings true. He sings: “Seven billion souls that move around the sun / Rolling faster, faster, not a chance to slow down / Slow down”.

“Feels Like Summer” is the first single of Gambino’s upcoming fourth studio album.
