Vampire Weekend recently took part in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and decided to treat us with an intriguing cover of Post Malone and Swae Lee’s hit track “Sunflower.” This was a fitting choice by American indie rockers, considering the fact that they also have a song titled “Sunflower,” which will be part of their upcoming Father of the Bride.

Hear the cover below.

The band also performed “Harmony Hall,” which serves as the lead single for their upcoming record.

Father of the Bride will be Vampire Weekend’s fourth studio album, serving as a follow up to 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City. The record is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019 with the band already presenting singles “Harmony Hall,” “2021,” “Sunflower,” and “Big Blue.”

Following the album’s release, the band will embark on a massive tour across North America, which will be their first since 2014. They will kick off the trip on May 17th with a show on Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores and will perform through June, August, September and early October before wrapping up the tour in Denver on October 8th.
