Usher is one of the artists we really miss seeing in the spotlight, but it seems like 2020 will be his year to shine. The R&B superstar is starting the new decade on a high note – by hosting and performing at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards.

This award show will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on March 29th and Usher seems to be as pumped about it as the rest of us. “I’m so excited to host the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards and help celebrate the music that I and millions of other music lovers listened to this past year. It’ll be like hanging out with old friends,” said the “Yeah!” singer in a statement.

Usher isn’t one of the nominees at this ceremony, but his hosting spot makes a lot of sense. In addition to being one of the most charismatic stars in the world, he has a new album on the way.

Confessions 2 still doesn’t have a release date, but he recently dropped Summer Walker collaboration “Come Thru” and new song “Don’t Waste My Time” featuring Ella Mai.
