Tyler, the Creator is gearing up for the release of his next album Chromakopia, and he did a great job setting the stage for its release. He teased his new sound with the music video for the lead single “Noid” starring Ayo Edebiri, which sees him exploring the dark side of fame.

“Noid” sees the rapper exploring his paranoia about being a public figure and feeling like he’s constantly under the microscope. The music video opens with him trying to make his way through a huge crowd of people before coming face to face with a crazed fan, played by the Emmy-winning actress Ayo Edebiri.

“Feel it in my aura, living between cameras and recorders,” he raps while feeling that his privacy is under constant threat. He sees danger at every turn, hallucinating being tailed on the road and being robbed in his own home, while surrounded by his loved ones.

“Noid” serves as the lead single from Tyler, the Creator’s upcoming eighth studio album Chromakopia, which will be released on October 28 via Columbia Records. It samples the song “Nizakupanga Ngzo” by the Zambian band Ngozi Family and features a snippet of the lead singer Paul Ngozi singing in his native Nyanja language.

Tyler, the Creator will celebrate the release of Chromakopia by embarking on a world tour taking place throughout 2025 in North America, Europe, and Oceania.
