Billie Eilish gave us one of the best songs from the Barbie soundtrack with “What I Was Made For”, and Troye Sivan loves it as much as the rest of us. The Australian singer delivered an emotional cover of this song during his recent performance at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

Sivan is currently busy promoting his upcoming third studio album Something to Give Each Other, set to hit the shelves next week. This album already produced two singles—“Rush” and “Got Me Started”—the first of which Sivan performed during his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge stop.

It became somewhat of a tradition for artists to deliver covers of songs of their choice while performing at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, and Sivan welcomed this trend with open arms. He opted for Billie Eilish’s “What I Was Made For, one of the singles from Barbie: The Album, which previously topped the charts in the UK.

Sivan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming LP Something to Give Each Other, which he described as a “celebration of s-x, dance, sweat, community, queerness, love and friendship.” His third studio album will be released on October 13 via Capitol Records, and it’s expected to feature a total of 10 tracks.
