Travis Scott joined forces with some of his favorite artists in the hip-hop scene on his new compilation album JackBoys. They made something amazing by coming together, and easily reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart.

This compilation album hit no. 1 with 154,000 album-equivalent units sold, taking advantage of a slow-release schedule at the end of 2019. The album features appearances from several rappers signed to Scott’s Cactus Jack Records, with guest appearances from Rosalía, Offset, Young Thug and more.

Travis Scott described this album as a body of work made with people he’s been collaborating with since day one. The “Sicko” singer has always been a big supporter of other artists, and repeatedly expressed his opinion that the hip-hop community shouldn’t be so divided.

“Everyone is obviously winning, but it would be so cool if rap didn’t have so much back-and-forth and it was more about us coming to an understanding on some things and there was more camaraderie. We are all in this together. It’s us versus those who don’t get it,” Scott told XXL.
