Travis Scott’s next album is hitting the shelves pretty soon, but he’s been pretty hush about it… until now. The acclaimed rapper is planning to tease the release of Utopia with an epic launch show, which will be live streamed from the Pyramids of Giza on July 28.

Scott announced the launch event by sharing a photo that reads “Utopia is wherever you are” and captioned it with the words “the mummies are waking up.” Since Scott didn’t share too much information, it’s still unclear if his new album will be themed around the imagery of the Pyramids of Giza or if he simply embraced this aesthetic for the launch event.

Scott will live stream from Egypt on July 28, but we still don’t know if this will officially be the release date of his next album. Tickets to the live stream and album packs (including vinyl) are available for pre-order, but Complex reports that the album’s release date has not been confirmed yet.

Utopia is the long-awaited follow-up to Scott’s seminal third studio album Astroworld, which came out in 2018. It produced singles, “Butterfly Effect”, “Sicko Mode”, “Yosemite”, and “Wake Up”, and was named among the best albums of 2018 by many major publications, in addition to scoring a Grammy nod for the best rap album.
