Fans of legendary rock band Tool spent over a decade waiting for their next album, but their patience finally paid off. Drummer Danny Carey recently revealed they’re getting ready to make a huge comeback this spring.

According to Carey, Tool’s fifth studio album will be out in April, and he’s not the only one who shared some info about their next record. The band’s associate Gabriel Shaffer took to Instagram to reveal he’s heard the record and said it was definitely worth the wait.

“All I can say is I heard something from start to finish, that a number of us have been waiting to hear for over 10 years now. I can confirm it is worth every bit of the wait. The main question is are we worthy of it?” wrote Shaffer on Instagram.

Tool hasn’t released a new album since 2006, when “10.000 Days” debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. They’ve been constantly touring ever since, despite the fact they haven’t released any new music in 13 years.
