Tom Morello is taking time off from his supergroup Prophets of Rage and focusing on a new solo album. Titled The Atlas Underground, the album will be released on October 12th and feature an unreal lineup of guests.

For this project, Morello recruited an all-star bunch of rappers and producers including Big Boi, RZA, Killer Mike, Steve Aoki and Bassnectar. Also set to make an appearance on The Atlas Underground are Portugal. the Man, Whethan, GZA, Gary Clark Jr., K. Flay, Pretty Lights, Marcus Mumford, Tim McIlrath, Carl Restivo, Nico Stadi, Leikeli47, and Herobust.

Alongside the announcement, the 54-year-old musician also revealed a trailer for the record alongside one of the songs, “We Don’t Need You” featuring Vic Mensa.

“I’ve been devoted both musically and as an activist to fighting injustice at every turn,” said Morello in a statement. “Amid this heightened sense of impending doom, it’s now time to rally the troops in a last-ditch effort to save the planet, and our artistic souls. By challenging the boundaries of what music is and has sounded like before, you can open peoples’ eyes to changing the status quo in society.”
