Thirty Seconds to Mars have a new song coming soon. The Los Angeles rock band recently shared a teaser for the single “Stuck,” which is officially slated for release on May 8.

The 14-second long teaser shows scenes from the black-and-white music video and features a small snippet of the song during which frontman Jared Leto sings: “The way you move has got me stuck ….

“Stuck” will mark the first new song from Thirty Seconds to Mars in five years. The band’s most recent release was their fifth studio effort America, which came out in 2018 and peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 charts.

While the band still hasn’t confirmed there is a new album on the way, recent comments by frontman Jared Leto indicate it is as guaranteed as it gets. In an interview with NME, Leto shared that the band wrote close to 200 songs during the pandemic and intended to share them with the audience in due time.

“We’re really just waiting for the right opportunity, the right time to put music out,” Leto said at the time.

In the meantime, Thirty Seconds to Mars plan to perform at a series of festivals in the summer and fall, including appearances on Lollapalooza Chicago and When We Were Young.
