More than 12 years after the final stage appearance of The White Stripes and eight years after they have officially disbanded, the recording of the last concert of the duo is available online for streaming and downloading.

The show took place on July 31, 2007, in Snowden Grove – on the border of Tennessee and Mississippi. It contained 24 songs, including “Icky Thump,” “As Ugly as I Seem,” “Wasting My Time,” “John the Revelator,” and “Death Letter.” “Boll Weevil” was the song that closed the show – and ultimately the Garage Rock Duo live performance career.

Ben Blackwell, who serves as an archivist for The White stripes recalls that he himself learned that the show was to be the last one of the duo only minutes before they went on stage. “Meg said to me, ‘I think this is the last White Stripes show.’”, he says. “Confused, I responded ‘Well, yeah, last show of this leg of the tour.’ She replied ‘No… I think this is the last White Stripes show ever,’ and slowly walked away.”

You can listen to the concert or download it on nugs.net.
