Although Jack White had a busy 2018, releasing his long-awaited third solo studio album, Boarding House Reach, and embarking on a massive worldwide tour, he doesn’t intend to take a break. Instead, the 43-year-old musician is working on a new studio release with The Raconteurs; his supergroup formed with Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler.

The album was announced through White’s recording company Third Man Records and will arrive in 2019. This yet-untitled record will be the band’s first studio release since 2008’s Consolers of the Lonely.

Alongside the announcement about the new album, Third Man Records also revealed that 10-year-anniversary special edition of Consolers of the Lonely would be out soon. Besides the songs from the original release, this edition will also contain two brand new songs from The Raconteurs that will give fans a glimpse of the upcoming album.

The Raconteurs were found in 2005 through Jack White and Brendan Benson’s frequent songwriting sessions. Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler joined in shortly after, and the band released their debut single “Steady, As She Goes,” which was well received by the audience.

Their first studio release came with 2006’s Broken Boy Soldiers, which ended up receiving praise from the critics and being nominated for Best Rock Album at the 49th Grammy Awards. Two years later, The Raconteurs released a follow-up, Consolers of the Lonely, to similar success.
