The Raconteurs Land Their First No. 1 Album On The Billboard 200

Help Us Stranger is the Raconteurs’ first no. 1 album on the Billboard 200. 

The album, which is the group’s first full-length release in 11 years debuted on June 21 with 88,000 equivalent album units in the US. According to Nielsen Music, 84,000 of those units were in album sales. The album also racked up 3,000 streaming equivalent album units.

According to the website, “the Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units.”

The Raconteurs landed two top 10 spots before, peaking at no. 7 with 2008’s Consolers of the Lonely and 2006’s Broken Boy Soldiers.

The Raconteurs will tour North America to promote Help Us Stranger this summer.
