The voters at the American Music Awards have been very kind to Taylor Swift over the years, and they’re not done showing her how much they appreciate her talent. The “Shake It Off” singer is set to be honored with the Artist of the Decade Award at the upcoming AMAs ceremony.
Swift will add this trophy to the 24 awards she won at this ceremony in the past, setting an all-time record. As if that wasn’t enough, she could win several more at this year’s AMAs, since she’s in the running for six different awards, including artist of the year.
Taylor Swift delivered a series of epic performances at this even in the past, and she’s returning to give another one this year. Not much is known about it at the moment, but the producers behind this ceremony are promising an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other.
This year’s American Music Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 24th. Post Malone topped the list of nominations with seven nods, but Swift, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish were right behind with six.
