Taylor Swift surprised fans with a live performance in Central Park, New York, on Thursday.
Swift’s brand new album, Lover, has been one of the most highly anticipated records of 2019. Swift recently dropped the music video for the record’s titular track and it’s even more romantic than we could have imagined.

To celebrate the album’s release, Swift performed to 4500 in Central Park following her appearance on Good Morning America. She played two tracks from the new album and concluded the performance with a rendition of “Shake It Off.”
Speaking on Good Morning, Swift said of her new single: “‘Lover’ is a song I’m so proud of. I wrote it alone… the video comes out tonight! Which is insane.”
“I’m really proud of that song,” she added. “That song is like a cozy, warm blanket for me. I just think lyrically top-to-bottom that song, of the things people have heard so far, that one is the one I’m really proud of.”
