Taylor Swift has been busy re-recording songs from her old catalog after her masters were sold, and her very first remastered track is finally here. She released a new version of “Love Story” just in time for Valentine’s Day, and that’s not the only surprise she has in store.

The lyrics and message of Swift’s hit single, originally released in 2008, take a whole new meaning in this version. The maturity in the singer’s voice is obvious, and “Love Story” now serves as a love letter to her fans, not solely a romantic interest.

The lyric video that Swift shared with the world is filled with videos from live performances and photos of the singer with her fans. It depicts the love between the 10-time Grammy-winning hitmaker and the loyal fans who always had her back.

The new version of “Love Story” will be one of 26 songs featured on the new version of Swift’s second album Fearless, set to be released on April 9th. Swift described it as “an album full of magic and curiosity, the bliss and devastation of youth” and said she’s thrilled to share it with the world.
