SZA is currently plotting her highly-anticipated second studio album and she just dropped some major hints about this record. The R&B singer celebrated her birthday by sharing a video teaser for her new song and music video “PSA”.
SZA didn’t offer additional context about this project. It could either be the name of her upcoming single or the title of her sophomore studio album, the follow-up to Ctrl from 2017.
The clip abruptly ends with morse code for S.O.S. so people are speculating this is actually the name of her upcoming album. SZA shared this video shortly after releasing her new single “Shirt” in late October, which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The R&B superstar previously discussed her new music with Complex, saying that her upcoming album is “a little bit of everything” and “all over the place”.
“I don’t even know what this album is about and what it sounds like. Which is why I had to go to the mode of what feels good to my brain and to my energy and the songs that I think are hot, I just have to go with them. I have no idea what it sounds like to anybody else,” said SZA.
