Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon continues to treat us with bits from her upcoming debut solo album No Home Record. This time she shared the newest single “Air BnB,” accompanied by an intriguing music video.

The track feels like a throwback to Sonic Youth’s noisy efforts from the ’90s, but that isn’t a bad thing at all. Gordon managed to incorporate the nostalgia with just enough modern sound and different ideas, to make the song feel fresh and exciting. It might also be a good indication of what Gordon’s solo record should be all about.

“Air BnB” came with a music video that is both weird and great at the same time. While the song is playing in the background, the video features a text written on a black background. It tells a story of what video would look like if the budget allowed it. This includes scenes in a fancy Air BnB in Los Angeles, backyard tent, and much more.

Listen to the song and check out the video below.

Kim Gordon’s No Home Record, which was produced by Justin Raisen is scheduled for release on October 11th. Gordon previously shared a pair of singles from the 9-track record including “Murdered Out,” and “Sketch Artist.”
