Solange Knowles was one of the most anticipated acts of this year’s Coachella, but her performance is no longer in the books. The Grammy-winning artist called off her concert and cited production delays as the reason for cancellation.

Coachella announced the news via their Twitter account and expressed their hope she’ll return to headline in the nearby future.

“Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year’s festival. She sends her sincerest apologies and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future,” read the tweet.

Solange’s fans were super-excited about her performance, especially after hearing her new album When I Get Home. This record was released on March 1 to rave reviews, and it was accompanied by a 33-minute film.

The video was inspired by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey and Solange’s representatives described it as “exploration of origin, asking the question how much of ourselves do we bring with us versus leave behind in our evolution”.
