Slipknot is getting ready to release its first studio album after a 5-year long pause. In the meantime, the frontman Corey Taylor is getting better from his double–knee surgery.

The famous metal legends announced the long-rumored new album and its name will be We are not your kind, with a release date of August 9th at Roadrunner Records. It will be the first full – length project since 2014’s The Gray Chapter

Slipknot also revealed the lead single of the album, called “Unsainted” and it was directed by M. Shawn Crahan aka Clown.
