The Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid might treat us with some new songs soon. The singer recently went on Twitter to inform her social media followers that she will spend the next few months in the studio.

Presumably, the 23-year-old intends to start working on a follow-up to her highly successful 2019’s debut record, Sucker Punch.

“brb, will be in the studio for the next few months. I’ve got new music to make!” Sigrid wrote.

Sigrid will head to the studio after she spent the majority of 2019 touring. She served as an opening act for Maroon 5 during their summer tour in Europe, while also supporting George Ezra at his UK shows. The “Strangers” singer also had a number of headlining shows in late 2019, touring North America and Europe. Her next live dates are scheduled for June.

Sigrid released Sucker Punch in March 2019 and was met with widespread acclaim, with critics calling the record “compact, concise display of pop ambition.” The album topped the charts in her native Norway while reaching No.4 on UK Charts and No.3 at Billboard’s US Heatseekers Albums list.
