Considering the way Sigrid took the music world by storm in the last two years, it is hard to believe that this Norwegian pop sensation still doesn’t have a studio album to her name. That will change soon, since the 22-year-old singer announced that her debut album, titled Sucker Punch, will drop on March 1st, 2019.

Sigrid revealed the news on her social media, posting an accompanying video in which she provided further insights into the record.

“I’ve been working on it for so long with some really talented people,” she said in the video. “I’m listening to it all the time and I’m really excited for you to listen to it too.”

You can check out her full statement in full below.

The full track-listing for Sucker Punch is yet to be revealed, but it is expected to feature the title track alongside Sigrid’s previous hit singles “Strangers,” “Dynamite,” and “Don’t Kill My Vibe.”

Sigrid achieved international success in 2017 when she presented EP Don’t Kill My Vibe, which received positive reviews while the title track became a huge hit. She followed that up with another EP, titled Raw, which was released in the summer of 2018 and was also received warmly by the critics.
